About Me

Talking on the phone topless since 1980…huh what? No. I don’t do that…ever…

So unoriginal, I know! However, some people are curious(like myself) so here it is!

Personal Info:

I am a 30-something wife and a mother of 3 beautiful children. I have an 11,6 and 3 year old. To say that I am often tired, would be accurate, maybe even an understatement. However, I am not old or boring. Well, sometimes I can be boring and most days I feel like I am 80, but I digress. I am what one would call “curvy”, but I am working on fixing that physical trait. I want to be curvy in a skinny way…make sense? No? Whatever. Nevertheless, I am a woman and I enjoy most of the perks of being a woman….

I am a Philanthropist. If you don’t know what that means, it means that I am a “lover of humanity” or I enjoy practicing kind acts upon humanity. I was told I was a philanthropist not too long ago and was happy to have a title HA! What does this include? For me it is raising money for breast cancer, juvenile diabetes, AIDS, etc. It is also cleaning up the beach once a month (although I would like to do it more than that). It is feeding the hungry, and helping my friends. You are probably a philanthropist, too!

Christian Liberty Academy 1995-1999 GPA 3.25

Mt. San Antonio College 2007-2013 GPA 3.86 AA in Language Arts (English transfer)

California State University, Fullerton – Fall 2013 YAY! (English)

I am a non-traditional student. I am a recent graduate from Mt. San Antonio College and have transferred as a junior to Cal State Fullerton where I am majoring in English and Public Relations. Then I hope to receive my masters degree….maybe one day I will even get a Doctorate…who knows?!?. My goal is to teach college English and possibly literature….and possibly be a PR girl since my mentor/friend thinks I would rock it.

I am a writer. Aren’t we all though? However, I have written one novel that I think needs to be revised 36 times. I wrote it back in 2004 for my grandmother who loves romance novels. I don’t think its that great, but I did spend a good amount of time writing over 50 thousand words. It is my dream to have it edited and published in honor of my grandma. I also love poetry, and have written some but this info really belongs in the nerd section! I have written a children’s book I am hoping to publish some time in 2013. I love to write, and I love to study different types of literature. I have written essays on everything from The Ideal Woman in 17th Century England to both ends of Great Expectations.

I am a real, flawed, imperfect, honest, loyal and true friend. I am not cocky, I have so many flaws its ridiculous. HOWEVER, when I do something nice for you it is because I enjoy doing it and NOT because I expect something in return. Scary concept, I know. Imagine a world where people were nice to others out of the kindness of their hearts. I care about the future of this country and the children who live in it. I want to be the teacher that inspires students. I want to truly be the change that I wish to see in this world. I know that doing so starts with me!

Well, there you have it. This is my disclaimer! Now if you stop and wonder why I am so crazy you have a reference as to why! Thank you for visiting my blog!
